High School Football

Perkins-Tryon VS Berryhill - Friday, October 24, 2008

Michael and I got to enjoy the game with my grandparents (Cooper's), Uncle Curt and Aunt Janice. It was a very cold night, but I got my hot chocolate...which I absolutely love! Jayson, my younger cuz, is a defensive coach with the Perkins-Tryon team. I am so proud of him. He did an excellent job! It's so refreshing to watch someone love what they do as much as he does....lots of passion for the coaching game. From warmups to prayer time at the end of the game, it was definitely worth seeing.

Sadly it was our first game to see our home team (Berryhill) play this year. It's hard to get into a community when you do not have kids. I think we are making strides though. Our church family helps us along the way. It was funny having to see a lot of our fellow church family members...especially our pastor...why? we were sitting on the opponents side - Perkins-Tryon....sorry, but family conquers the cheering of a home team. PT did win! We will have to make sure to attend another home game where we can root for Berryhill! :) More pics of the evening are posted on my facebook page! Enjoy!

He's such an awesome coach!

4-Wheeling with Family

It has been a little bit ago, since my last 4-Wheeling experience with my husband. It's been hard not to go out on it, because I was unable to...the whole surgery thing got in the way. On Sunday, October 19, 2008, we went 4-wheeling with my sis, brother-in-law, cousin and his girlfriend. Another blast packed day. October was definitely an overkill of positive fun with friends and family. I was definitely sore after our experience, but it was worth it! Here are just some pics from our experience. I've posted all on my facebook page! Remember to be adventurous and seize the day with family and friends...you may have fun!

OSU Homecoming

Homecoming Weekend was jam packed with fun! Michael and I had the pleasure of hanging out with my sis and brother-in-law for the weekend. Friday, October 17 we enjoyed the walkaround, plus Homecoming & Hoops! I am always amazed at the pomping technique. There are lots of hours and energy put into these magnificent display decks. I snapped a couple of shots on some of my favorites. I forgot to get names of each group for credit.

My sis and I got these awesome glow in the dark glow sticks from the sweetest elderly lady. She was raising money for missions. I really had a blast hanging out with my sis. It has been sporadic over the years...now we get to see eachother a lot more, which I feel blessed!

The cheerleaders are pretty good. I was flashing back to my days as a cheerleader...for those that have been around me at game time...I still haven't given the cheerleader style up....I have to have a certain radius of free space to root my Cowboys on! It's great for me...maybe not so much for others...I tend to yell from the belly...very load I must say!

They are too cute! Only been married since June 7th!

The band was rocking it that night. We had a good time dancing with traditional moves that the band displays! The drumline is probably might favorite out of all the parts in the band!

Go Oklahoma State Cowboys and Cowgirls. We got to see a preview from both teams. They were just able to start practicing that week from what I heard!

My favorite house deck was the 80's one. I just LOVE MY 80's...perhaps it's when I was younger and things seem less crazy! Go polaroids!

Here we are for the actual game day experience...matching shirts, tattoo stickers and hair....now that's celebrating!

BATHROOM ESCAPE

Here is the transition of our Master Bathroom. Michael did most the painting, because he rocks the paint brush and roller! I love walking into our bathroom now. It is definitely an escape. You can't help but smile in this relaxing place! We actually got the project done in one day! Praise My mom even came to help with the transition! She's not a fan of blue, but I think deep down she loved it! My father-in-law came over to see the paint....he loved it! I knew he would. God for beautiful paint and eye sight! Enjoy the before and after pics! PS - So far everyone who has gotten to see the masterpiece has thoroughly enjoyed it!

Sandra Tagged Me :)

Here is my 6th picture from my 6th folder:

I have quite a few folders within MY PICTURES Folder...so I went with the 2008 folder, since I use it the most....then picked the 6th folder (random topic blog pics) and plucked the 6th pic....which is this adorable little guy. He is just too cute.

I'm not sure which forwarded e-mail this came off of, but I'm glad I got it saved. Life can make us exhausted! Whenever we feel like we are yawning too much....it's not because we are bored....we're overloaded....or have completely worn ourselves out. Try to get your 8 hours sleep....but try not to pack your schedule either....life is too short and fragile...we don't need to add to the mix! I hope all is well! I've tagged Aunt Tracy for the 6th folder, 6th picture!
